Introduction
To enhance judicial efficiency and create a more optimized environment for trials and hearings, Court of Justice of Santa Catarina (Tribunal de Justiça de Santa Catarina, hereinafter referred to asTJSC) in Brazil has officially launched a comprehensive court modernization project. Spearheaded by the Office of the Attorney General and the President of the Court, and coordinated by the Information Technology Department, this initiative introduces the Kandao Meeting Ultra AI 360°all-in-one video conferencing device to replace traditional equipment, paving the way for a more efficient and advanced digital court.
The Challenge of Traditional Courtrooms
In the past, the TJSC courtroom relied on a combination setup of TVs, separate monitors and webcams. This resulted in complex cable management, inefficient operations, and compromised hearing quality due to limited viewing angles and unclear sound reception.

Nationwide Deployment and Training
The equipment has already been distributed and is in the installation phase across numerous districts, including Brasília, São José, Tubarão, Criciúma, São Miguel do Oeste, Lages, Joaçaba, Videira, Xanxerê, Mafra, Chapecó, Joinville, Rio do Sul, Blumenau, Itajaí and Balneário Camboriú. IT support technicians in these districts have already been trained and are prepared to share the knowledge acquired with other technicians and collaborators involved in court hearings.
