Improving Courtroom Communication Efficiency: TJRO Implements Kandao Meeting Omni System with Meeting Ultra

Repost from Judiciary of the State of Rondônia in Brazil

Project coordinated by STIC strengthens infrastructure and improves services within the Court

The Court of Justice of the State of Rondônia has taken another important step towards technological modernization with the implementation of a new Ledwall solution and videoconferencing system. The initiative is coordinated by the Secretariat of Information and Communication Technology (STIC) and aims to improve the communication and transmission resources used in the Judiciary of Rondônia.

The technology was chosen because of its integration with videoconferencing systems, its continuous operation capacity and the interactivity provided by touch screen accessories. Another advantage is the possibility of holding meetings with adequate lighting, which makes it easier for participants to view presentations and take notes without having to turn off the room lights.

According to the Secretary of Information and Communication Technology, Ângela Carmen Szymczak de Carvalho, the adoption of the new solution represents an important step forward for the TJRO. “We were looking for a solution that would deliver performance, flexibility and visual comfort, without compromising the dynamics of the meetings,” says Ângela.

After the installation of the structure, technical and operational training was carried out for employees from several TJRO units, focusing on the efficient use of the new Ledwall solution and the videoconferencing system. “The training was essential to ensure that users are fully able to operate the available resources, making the most of the tool’s functionalities,” adds Ângela.

With the new technology, the Court now has access to high-definition visual and interactive resources, optimizing the conduct of in-person and virtual activities. The president of the TJRO, Judge Raduan Miguel Filho, highlights the importance of investing in technology as a tool for transformation. “In addition to strengthening institutional communication, the initiative is part of the TJRO’s ongoing effort to align itself with the best technological practices, ensuring modern, sustainable and future-oriented performance,” says Raduan.
