QooCam 3 - How to Shoot & Edit 360 Videos (ft. Bart Achilles)

@Flagbig360, a 360 enthusiast skilled in creating tiny planets, shares how to use Kandao QooCam3 to record a video and stitch it on PC, generating both 360 and flat video outputs.

To Shoot a 360 Video with QooCam3:

Start by turning on the camera and selecting the video mode by tapping the lower-left icon. Then, select the desired resolution and frame rate; by the way, the QooCam 3 supports capturing videos in 5.7K. Afterward, adjust the settings such as white balance, exposure value compensation, shutter speed and ISO. In challenging lighting conditions, @Flagbig360 recommends to use Manual Mode and set the exposure value to minus 0.3. Finally, drop the video files into QooCam Studio for editing.

To Edit a 360 Video:

Enable the mesh and check the horizon for the 360 video. Use the settings on the left down bottom to make adjustments.

Additional settings of Stabilization, Defringe, and color correction are available at the top right of the window.

Select the resolution, format, bitrate before exporting the video.

To Edit a Flat Video:

Navigate to adjustment and select Reframe to choose different perspectives, like Tiny Planet. You can customize the aspect ratio according to your preferences. Simply use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out and click and drag to achieve the desired perspective. You can set the key frame on the timeline to set different perspective views you like.

Same as above, you can set Stabilization and color correction if you like. And remember to select the proper resolution, format and bitrate before exporting your work.
